Initial Thoughts
Not every cigar is beautiful. Some cigars are “rustic,” and some have a closed foot or a pigtail tip. Others, like the Drew Estate Nica Rustica Adobe, are smooth and sexy. And, as in the case of the Adobe, cost less than you might think.
The Drew Estate Nica Rustica Adobe is a continuation, expansion, and deviation of the original Nica Rustica line from Drew Estate. Whereas the original was bold, with its Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, the Ecuadorian Habano-wrapped Adobe is milder and smoother.
On the cold draw, the cigar tasted very leafy. Once lit though, the flavors were quite spicy.
Is the Drew Estate Nica Rustica Adobe as good as the original? Is it “overweight” and under-priced at less than $6? Let's find out.

Final Thoughts
After smoking the Drew Estate Nica Rustica Adobe Robusto for 68 minutes, it was time to put the cigar down.
The Adobe is great. For such an inexpensive cigar, the Nica Rustica Adobe is definitely worth looking at. The flavors are spicy and mostly delicious. And, the construction is way better than most “budget” cigars.
I think this line of cigars is one of the best on the market for the price, so the Drew Estate Nica Rustica Adobe Robusto earns a CigarScore 5.
