Cigar Review: Hammer + Sickle Moscow City

Initial Thoughts:

The first draw on the Hammer + Sickle Moscow City Toro was every easy and with almost no resistance. The flavors are leafy and… something I can't quite place, something like a cleaning chemical.

The wrapper is dark and dry. After smoking about one-third of the cigar, the flavors are about the same, and I don't love them.

The draw is easy, the taste is a little harsh, but the burn is pretty consistent. I suspect this cigar needs another year in the humidor to age.

Final Thoughts:

I didn't like the Hammer + Sickle Moscow City. The flavors weren't great, and I was ready to finish it about half way through. The cigar's burn was even and the draw was consistent, no rough patches, but overall the Hammer + Sickle Moscow City was unimpressive.

For the price, I would've liked a cigar with more and better flavors and that didn't taste like it was fresh from the grass fields. I give the Hammer + Sickle Moscow City a CigarScore of 2 for these reasons and because I would not smoke this cigar again.
