Initial Thoughts:
After smoking and reviewing The Tabernacle Toro (which earned a CigarScore of 4), I went into this Lancero with a great deal of excitement.
I'm not too familiar with lanceros, they're just not a size that I've smoked a lot, so I had some questions about the burn and draw of a cigar of this shape. During the first third of this cigar, I enjoyed rich flavors and an even burn.

Final Thoughts:
As far as the construction of the cigar, The Tabernacle Lancero is almost perfectly handmade. But that's about where the good stuff ends and the problems begin. The flavors of the cigar started rich, which hints of Nicaraguan creamy-ness. However, the flavors weren't consistent, and they even gave way to a slight taste of ammonia.
Because the acidic flavors started to overpower the tobacco and because, despite the great build quality, I didn't want to finish the cigar, I have to give this particular The Tabernacle Lancero a CigarScore of 2.
