Cigar Review: Cohiba Serie M Prominente Churchill

Initial Thoughts

Today we're smoking the limited edition and fairly expensive Cohiba Serie M Prominente Churchill.

One of the first things I noticed about the Cohiba Serie M was how beautiful it looked. The roller(s) of this cigar did a fantastic job, and the quality of the wrapper leaf really shined. The Prominente also has a pigtail cap and a closed foot, which are two features not often seen on Cohiba's cigars.

NOTE: Cigars with a closed foot are meant to be lit while you puff on them. Lighting the extra wrapper while puffing will give you a blast of the wrapper flavor.

Once lit, the flavors were very light and mild, but quite tasty. However, this cigar, with tax, is almost $40. Is the Cohiba Serie M Prominente Churchill worth the high price? Let's find out.

Final Thoughts

I was able to smoke the Cohiba Serie M Prominente Churchill for about 90 minutes. And, for the most part, I really enjoyed the cigar. The flavors were mild and approachable but with some spiciness toward the end.

The Cohiba Serie M is a good cigar for fans of Cohiba. It's also a good cigar for anyone who loves what the El Titan de Bronze factory makes in Little Havana. It's also a great cigar to celebrate special events and occasions. However, the price of the Cohiba Serie M keeps it out of reach for many people. Is it a good cigar? Yes. But, it was an expensive one.

All that said, this cigar was quite enjoyable. The construction was almost perfect and the flavors had a nice bit of subtle complexity to them. The Cohiba Serie M Prominente Churchill earns a CigarScore 5.
