Initial Thoughts

The first thing I noticed about the Room 101 Los Statos Deluxe Connecticut Toro was its fantastic aroma. The Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper was doughy and sweet, and I was immediately drawn to this cigar. Upon closer examination, the super-smooth wrapper felt like well-oiled leather.

On the cold draw, the Room 101 Los Statos Deluxe Connecticut Toro was a little tight, and the flavors had hints of citrus with wheat and grass.

Will the Room 101 Los Statos Deluxe Connecticut Toro taste as good as it smells? Let’s find out!

Final Thoughts

I was able to smoke the Room 101 Los Statos Deluxe Connecticut Toro for a fairly long 98 minutes. Part of the smoke time was contributable to the tight draw, though that might’ve been balanced out by me puffing on it fast to get enough smoke.

Overall, the construction was decent and the flavors were pretty good. I’ve enjoyed these cigars in the past, and the only drawback to this one was the draw. The flavors were enjoyable, with plenty of doughiness.

Because of the tight draw, the Room 101 Los Statos Deluxe Connecticut Toro earns a CigarScore 4.
