The Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel Aged Maduro is an iconic, classic, and time-tested new world cigar. Nick Perdomo released the Habano BBA line of cigars over 20 years ago, and they’re a staple in any good humidor.
Initial Thoughts
The Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel Aged Maduro is a pretty dark cigar with an almost gray tone to it. The filler at the foot looked like a nice blend of light and darker tobacco.
On the cold draw, the flavors were of wood. Once lit, the draw was a little tight, but it quickly opened up, and the flavors of leather and wood were smooth and pleasant.

There’s a lot to like about the Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel Aged Maduro. The flavors were Earthy and leathery with hints of sweetness, and the spice levels are just right.
I was quite surprised by this cigar. But, I guess I shouldn’t be, as this is one of the blends that made Perdomo Cigars a brand found in almost every retail humidor in the country. The Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel Aged Maduro earns a CigarScore 5.
