Cigar Review: Davidoff 6th Avenue

Initial Thoughts:

I love finding rare and exclusive cigars. So, when I walked into the Davidoff store on Madison Avenue in New York, I had to buy a cigar that only they sold, the Davidoff 6th Avenue. I'm pretty excited to smoke this cigar. At the time I wrote this review and recorded the video below, the 6th Avenue was only the second Davidoff I'd ever smoked.

The Davidoff 6th Avenue is a great looking cigar. The wrapper was almost perfect and only scarred by an ugly vein running down its side.

Final Thoughts:

As far as build quality goes, you'll not find a better-made cigar than the Davidoff 6th Avenue. From the first puff, the draw was perfect and never changed. The flavors are dank and musty, and I think you'd like this cigar more if you like hoppy beers.

However, despite all of the good things about the Davidoff 6th Avenue, I don't think it's worth the $28 price point.

Because I'd probably pass on smoking this one again unless you insisted upon it, I'd only give this cigar a CigarScore of 3. The price is just a little too high for what you get.
