Cigar Review: God of Fire Aniversario 2016
This God of Fire Aniversario 2016 has a football shape to it. It's covered in a fantastic Ecuadorian Sungrown wrapper, although there's still a fair amount of vegetable glue holding the tapered foot together. The flavors are mild and smooth and a little bit sweet.

Whenever you pay a high premium for a cigar, it better be flawless. And during my time with the God of Fire Aniversario 2016, perfect it was not.
The draw was pretty good. The flavors became somewhat bitter and quite peppery in the final third – which means about $10 of the cigar was a waste for me.
In the end, I think there are better cigars for the money. I think there are better cigars from the Dominican Republic. And, I think there are better cigars from Arturo Fuente, and those cigars come in at a lower price point.
For these reasons, the Arturo Fuente God of Fire Aniversario 2016 earns a CigarScore of 3. It's an okay cigar, but it's not the best in any category.
