Cigar Review: RoMa Craft CroMagnon Cranium

Initial Thoughts:

I was a little hesitant to try the RoMa Craft CroMagnon Cranium because my experience with the RoMa Craft Neanderthal wasn't great. However, the owners were in town hosting an event, so I thought I'd give their most popular cigar a try.

The CroMagnon has a dark, Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper that's a little sweeter than that of the Neanderthal. The wrapper was a little veiny, but the cigar is very well made. The flavors are bold and the aroma is like a dark, French Roast coffee.

Final Thoughts:

Make no mistake, the RoMa Craft CroMagnon is a bold cigar. While I never tasted any sweetness like you might find on the Fratello Navetta, the CroMagnon is a good cigar.

The burn of the cigar was even throughout the smoke, the aromas were good, and the flavors were rich and oily. Overall, I'd give the RoMa Craft CroMagnon a CigarScore 3 because I'd smoke it again, but there are other cigars I'd prefer to smoke.
