Initial Thoughts
One of the first things you’ll notice about the La Gloria Cubana Esteli is its aroma. This dark and oily cigar smells absolutely wonderful and immediately draws you in. On the cold draw, the flavors were very woody, and the draw was a little tight.
Once lit, the La Gloria Cubana Esteli continued to impress. The flavors were nice and leathery with some spiciness on the retrohale. After a few minutes of smoking, I started to get some really nice flavors of toast and dark caramel. I wasn’t immediately in love with the LGC Esteli, but it was good enough to make me optimistic.
