Adrian Magnus Cigars is a European brand, and they sent me three of these cigars to review.
Initial Thoughts
The Adrian Magnus Black Black Toro is a great-looking cigar. The Ecuadorian wrapper is dark and oily, and the construction appears almost perfect. The first two I smoked had a tight draw, and this final cigar was also wound a bit tighter than I enjoy.
Once lit, the Adrian Magnus Black Black offers up a fantastic aroma. My main issue is that there’s not a lot of smoke to taste. Perhaps it’s by design, but none of the three Black Black toros I’ve smoked have produced enough smoke to really taste the tobacco. If you’re looking for rich and billowy smoke, these aren’t it.
Is the Adrian Magnus Black Black Toro worth almost $29? Let’s smoke it and find out.

Final Thoughts
I was able to smoke the Adrian Magnus Black Black Toro for right at an hour and a half. Despite the cigar’s name and appearance, the Black Black is a fairly mild cigar (for the American market). I think of the Black Black like a Guinness beer – it looks intimidating, but it’s pretty light on flavor.
Additionally, I think the amount of nicotine in this cigar is pretty low. The Adrian Magnus Black Black Toro is a very approachable cigar that is easy to smoke.
Other than a tight draw, these three cigars have been good. Other than the somewhat high price point, these cigars are very approachable. The Adrian Magnus Black Black Toro earns a CigarScore 4.
