Cigar Review: All Saints Solamente Robusto

Initial Thoughts:

Over the past few years, Rocky Patel has lent his name to a lot of cigars. Like, a lot. So, when I heard that today's cigar, the All Saints Solamente, was one of the myriad of brands under the RP brand, I was a little bit skeptical.

I used to love Rocky's cigars, and he makes two of my go-to's, but I've smoked other collabs Rocky has done, and…. didn't love them. So, when I read that All Saints Cigars' founder Micky Pegg partnered with Rocky Patel Cigars to get his brand started, I was cautiously optimistic.

Okay… back to the cigar.

The All Saints Solamente has a nice, smooth, and slightly oily wrapper leaf. It gives off a great pre-light aroma.

The cut with my Colibri Deep V Cutter gave me about the right amount of resistance on the cold draw, which was very light, woody, and with hints of sourness.

Final Thoughts

With the All Saints Solamente, some of the flavors were good, some were not so good. Also, I had to retouch the burn at least three times.

Overall, this cigar could've been good. If there were more good flavors and fewer flavors that were just okay, or if this cigar had come in at around $8, things could've been different. However, at this price point and with these issues, the All Saints Solamente earns a CigarScore 3.
