Cigar Review: Arturo Fuente 858 Flor Fina

Initial Thoughts:

When I think about common, basic, average, or typical cigars, I often think about today's cigar, the Arturo Fuente 858 Flor Fina.

Diving into the cigar, after punching the end, I got flavors reminiscent of Chinese food on the cold draw. However, once I lit the Arturo Fuente 858 the draw was perfect and the flavors were “budget-y,” and I got that paper bag taste, unfortunately.

Final Thoughts

The Arturo Fuente 858 Flor Fina is an okay cigar, but not a great one.

Overall, the construction of the 858 is pretty good, but the flavors weren't all that impressive. The burn was even and the flavors were a combination of paper bag and smooth, but the smoke's aroma had nice hints of vanilla.

While I wish the 858 has lasted longer, the cigar was just okay. However, it's a fairly basic budget cigar. Because the Arturo Fuente 858 Flor Fina is a decent cigar for the price, it earns a CigarScore 3.
