Cigar Review: Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario 2014

Initial Thoughts:

There's Arturo Fuente. Then there's the Arturo Fuente Reserva Don Carlos. Then there's the Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario. I'm not quite sure what the difference is, but the Anniversary Edition doubles the price of the cigar. But, is it worth it?

The Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario is a short little robusto I received from my subscription to the Luxury Cigar Club. The cigar is wrapped in a cedar sheath and the foot looks like milk chocolate drizzled with dark fudge. This cigar looks absolutely amazing; I hope it is!

Final Thoughts:

I really like the Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario (wow, that's a mouthful) a lot. Other than a fairly high price point and a bad burn that crept up at the end, this cigar is almost perfect.

However, a $28 robusto? Ouch!

But the flavors were delicious. The blend of Dominican, Brazilian, Nicaraguan,  and Peruvian tobaccos made for a really wonderful cigar that I look forward to smoking again on a special occasion. Because I would smoke this again, but also because of the higher-than-is-reasonable price point, the Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario 2014 earns a CigarScore of 4.
