Cigar Review: Bandolero Tremendos Robusto

Initial Thoughts:

The first puff on the Bandolero Tremendos was sweet and leathery, the second and third tasted of dry paper or cardboard.

However, after I gave the cigar a few minutes to rest, I started to taste flavors that were quite delicious.

At first glance, this cigar seems to be very well made; the dark wrapper was smooth and the veins were almost entirely flat (which is a sign of good construction). After smoking about an inch of the cigar, the Tremendous cooled down, but the burn became slightly uneven – nothing to complain about, but noticeable given the higher price point.

Final Thoughts:

If you like cigars with some peppery spice to them, you'll really enjoy the Bandolero Tremendos. This cigar is well made, the draw was smooth and consistent the entire smoke, and the burn was fairly even despite some unevenness about halfway through.

However, I think there are cigars that taste just as good but which don't require a $13+ price point (especially in a state with no cigar tax). Because of the price, paired with a smaller size cigar, I give the Bandolero Tremendos robusto a CigarScore 3.
