Initial Thoughts:
When I reviewed the original Casa Cuevas LE Maduro Flaco in 2019, I wasn't all that impressed. However, a lot has happened in the world of Casa Cuevas since then (including a massive break-in), and they're back with Round 2, also a Luxury Cigar Club exclusive.
The first thing I noticed about the Casa Cuevas Limited Edition Maduro Flaco LCC Exclusive was its fantastic aroma. Right off the bat, the Mexican wrapper is firing on all cylinders, and it's delivering a really wonderful fragrance.
After twisting off the pigtail end, the draw was pretty good and I tasted mostly a woody flavor. Once the cigar was lit, the flavors were good and the open draw allowed me to fully taste what the Limited Edition Maduro Flaco had to offer.
I notice, however, that the wrapper was fairly rugged and there might be a hole in it that could cause an issue (spoiler alert, it didn't).

Final Thoughts
After checking my notes and comparing this LE Maduro Flaco to the one from 2019, I couldn't help but notice a price increase of about 30%. Whereas the original cost around $9 in 2019, this one will is around $12.
What happened in the last 18 or so months? I don't know. Perhaps it has to do with the break-in at the Casa Cuevas factory and their loss of inventory.
However, I do think the version I smoked today is better. The flavors are pretty good; they're bold and spicy and I can feel a slight tingle on the tip of my tongue.
As far as the cigar's construction goes, there were a couple of times when the burn became uneven, but each time the problems corrected themselves within just a few seconds.
While I'm not sure what caused the 30% increase in price over the last 18 months, the Casa Cuevas Limited Edition Maduro Flaco LCC Exclusive I smoked today was quite good, and it earns a CigarScore 5.
