Cigar Review: Cohiba Nicaragua N54

Initial Thoughts:

I lit the Cohiba Nicaragua N54 with excitement. Cohiba is one of the biggest names in cigars, so I jumped at the chance to enjoy one on a Tuesday afternoon.

One thing I immediately noticed was the cheap label on the cigar. A Behike this is not. The Cohiba Nicaragua N54 has an oily wrapper that's well made. The cigar is full-bodied, and my mouth got watery after every puff.

After smoking about 1/2 of the cigar, I noticed extremely rich flavors combined with creamy-smooth oils – think of a rich, dark chocolate dessert.

Final Thoughts:

The Cohiba Nicaragua treated me pretty well. Something about the blend of tobaccos made my mouth water the entire time I was smoking this cigar. The burn was incredibly even and the draw was consistently perfect. It wasn't until the last inch that the cigar got hot or bitter.

Although the cigar was good, it's not one I'd go out of my way to smoke, therefore I give the Cohiba Nicaragua N54 a CigarScore 3.
