Hot on the heals of the previous review of the Capa Especial, we decided to try a different vitola of an almost identical blend. While that one was a limited edition, today's review is of a cigar we can enjoy any time, the Crowned Heads Four Kicks Capa Especial Corona Gorda.
Initial Thoughts
Visually, the Crowned Heads Four Kicks Capa Especial Corona Gorda was a good-looking cigar; the only concern was a fairly thick vein running down most of the length of the cigar. After a quick cut from my guillotine, the resistance of the draw was perfect.

Once lit, I didn't taste the cotton candy like I did with the Lancero, but the Corona Gorda does have a nice bit of sweetness on the first puffs. A couple minutes in and the flavors were of a very sweet Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf and earthiness. The Four Kicks Capa Especial is off to a great start. Let's keep going!

Final Thoughts
For the 52 minutes I had with the Crowned Heads Four Kicks Capa Especial Corona Gorda, I very much enjoyed it. I do wish it had smoked for a longer time, though. Although the smoke time was shorter than I had expected, the construction of the cigar was pretty good.
The flavors were good. The construction was good. The price point was good. It just didn't smoke for as long as I would've liked. The Crowned Heads Four Kicks Capa Especial Corona Gorda was enjoyable and earns a CigarScore 5.
