Initial Thoughts:
I've said it before, and I'll say it again – one of the best things about cigar subscription clubs is that you get cigars you might not get to try otherwise. And, today's cigar comes from one such box. Today we're reviewing the Dapper Desvalido Lonsdale, which I received from Luxury Cigar Club in October.
Once I'd liberated the lonsdale from the cellophane, the Dapper Desvalido offered up a rich aroma from its Oliva family-grown Ecuadorian Habano Rosado wrapper. Oddly enough, the Desvalido's wrapper's smell reminded me of pipe tobacco.
After cutting the end, the cold draw offered up flavors that were familiar (probably because much of the Dapper Desvalido's tobacco comes from the Oliva family which I smoke a lot of).
While torching the foot, I smelled roasted, almost burnt chocolate.
CigarScore:

Through the middle of the cigar, the draw was absolutely perfect. If every cigar had a draw as good as this Dapper Desvalido Lonsdale, we'd have more cigar smokers out in the world.
Final Thoughts
After smoking the Dapper Desvalido Lonsdale for about an hour and a half, I have to say that this is a good cigar. While I didn't just love the flavors, the construction of this cigar was just about perfect. And, for the price, you get a decent amount of time with it. Therefore, the Dapper Desvalido Lonsdale earns a CigarScore 5.
