When Steve Saka wants to send a message with his cigars, he does. The customers of Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust wanted a strong, bold, intense cigar best smoked on a full stomach, so Steve created the Red Meat Lovers line of cigars.
Initial Thoughts
The Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Red Meat Lovers Ribeye Toro is a bold cigar chock full of intense broadleaf tobacco. Visually, the Dunbarton Red Meat Lovers Ribeye is a great looking cigar. The United States Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper is well marbled, and the pigtail tip adds a whimsical element to this otherwise serious cigar.
Before lighting the cigar, the aroma of the tobacco was rich, oily, and quite appealing. Once lit, the flavors weren't as strong as I'd been led to believe. They were also more complex and nuanced than I expected.

Final Thoughts
The Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Red Meat Lovers Ribeye Toro is a bold and complex cigar that should not be smoked by someone with an empty stomach.
Regarding the construction, it was perfect. The draw was fantastic and I got tons of billowy smoke on each puff. The flavors were good, but strong. While there was some complexity, the Red Meat Lovers is very broadleaf forward, and you can taste that tobacco in each puff. However, there were, occasionally, hints of something chocolatey.
I enjoyed this cigar and I think you will too. If you're ready for the boldness, eat something to fill your stomach, then dive into the Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Red Meat Lovers Ribeye Toro which earns a CigarScore 5.
