Cigar Review: Foundation Cigar Co.’s The Tabernacle Toro

Initial Thoughts:

This is my second The Tabernacle cigar from Foundation Cigar Co. The previous one, I really enjoyed, so I was excited to light this one up. The wrapper is dark and near-perfect – any visible veins have been flattened out. After an uneven guillotine cut, the cigar still had a smooth draw. The flavors were delicious from the very beginning.

Final Thoughts:

Foundation Cigar Co.'s The Tabernacle is a dark, bold, and rich cigar that will delight your taste buds. When smoking this particular stick, I enjoyed the spicey, peppery flavors and how I occasionally got hints of creamy vanilla. The burn was always even, and although I did cut a little more off the tip with my cutter, I always had a good draw. The aroma of  The Tabernacle is wonderful and has hints of clove.

I enjoy this cigar and it's at a decent price point, and for those reasons, Foundation Cigar Co.'s The Tabernacle earns a CigarScore 4.
