Cigar Review: JFR Lunatic Maduro Short Robusto

Initial Thoughts:

The first puffs on the JFR Lunatic Maduro Short Robusto tasted like biting into a chocolate bar. The flavors were rich and creamy and smooth, and I could definitely taste chocolate. The dark wrapper is oily and smooth, and the construction on this cigar is top notch.

Final Thoughts:

One thing I enjoy about cigars with maduro wrapper is how rich and elegant they can taste. Natural and Connecticut wrappers often taste cheap and make me thirsty, but cigars like this JFR Lunatic Maduro Short Robusto taste like a rich dessert and make me feel like I'm getting my money's worth.

This delicious cigar has an even burn, a good draw (though a little tight), and an aroma that is, frankly, awesome. With about two inches left, the wrapper started to peel off of itself, but not enough to impact the smoke. The cigar didn't get hot until I was down to about an inch left.

Because the JFR Lunatic Maduro Short Robusto is full of rich flavors and comes in at a price point that just about anyone can get on board with, this cigar gets a CigarScore of 5.
