Today's review is of a cigar that was released at the 2023 Premium Cigar Association tradeshow. Lucky for us, Luxury Cigar Club was able to snag some up and send them to us for review.
Initial Thoughts
The Lampert PCA Exclusive 2023 is a good looking cigar with a well-marbled Ecuadorian Habano wrapper leaf. The black and gold label really stand out and accent this attractive cigar.
Once lit, the flavors were good. I tasted something doughy and sweet, and I liked it. This mild cigar didn't have much spice on my palate, but a nice bit of spiciness on the retrohale.

Final Thoughts
My overall thoughts on the Lampert PCA Exclusive 2023 toro was that it was mild, spicy, and delicious. Whereas there wasn't much spice in the first third, in the final third, the spice ramped up quite a bit. Also, all of the creaminess from the beginning of the cigar was gone by the time I got to the end.
I did have to retouch the cigar in the final third to fix an uneven burn, but that was about it.
Though minor, the uneven burn keeps this cigar from earning our highest score. The Lampert PCA Exclusive 2023 toro earns a CigarScore 4.
