Initial Thoughts

When sifting through my Blind Cigar Review drawer in my humidor, one of the things that helped me decide to smoke the LH Aniversario Limited Edition Toro was its aroma. Musty and sweet, the LH Aniversario had an amazing smell.

Visually, the cigar was top notch, too. The Ecuadorian Habano wrapper leaf had a nice, oily sheen to it, and all of the veins were thin and well pressed.

Based on the spiciness and other flavor characteristics of the LH Aniversario Limited Edition, it reminded me of a Tatuaje. However, I was wrong about that. Is the LH Aniversario Limited Edition worth $20? Let's find out.

Final Thoughts

For the first 60% or so of the LH Aniversario Limited Edition, the flavors were both very sweet and very spicy. Then, a little more than halfway through the cigar, the sweetness disappeared, and the flavor was mostly spicy.

Regarding the construction, etc., it's been great. The LH Aniversario was incredibly well-made; it had a great draw and burn, and the smoke output on each puff was excellent.

While I didn't love the flavors that dominated the second half of the cigar, they were still good. I'd have preferred to have the sweetness come through the entire cigar, but that's just a personal preference. The LH Aniversario Limited Edition earns a CigarScore 5.
