Cigar Review: Montecristo Media Noche No. 3 Corona

Initial Thoughts

The Montecristo Media Noche No. 3 Corona comes to us today via the Adventure Club. It was a popular choice among members, so it was in there twice, and this rustic cigar will hopefully not disappoint.

The Montecristo Media Noche No. 3 Corona is a small cigar (it's a corona after all) with a super-toothy, Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. The wrapper leaf on this cigar is noticeably thick, so make sure you cut enough off of the cap.

On the cold draw, the Media Noche had flavors that were leafy and woody, kind of like sawdust. Once lit, the flavors were quite strong. I wasn't immediately attracted to this cigar, but I decided to keep at it and give it a go.

Is the tiny Montecristo Media Noche No. 3 Corona worth almost $14? Let's find out.

Final Thoughts

The Montecristo Media Noche No. 3 Corona I reviewed was all right. For the most part, the construction of this cigar was perfect.

The flavors weren't terribly complex, but they were bold. In the final third, that strength turned somewhat bitter. This cigar is flavor forward strength from the Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. There's no sweetness in this.

Despite being a little expensive, the Montecristo Media Noche No. 3 Corona earns a CigarScore 4.
