Cigar Review: Oliva Serie V 135th Anniversary Edicion Limitada

Initial Thoughts:

As soon as we got the Oliva Serie V 135th Anniversary LE in inventory, I knew I wanted to review one. While we've reviewed the Serie V Double Toro before, the 135th Anniversary Edicion Limitada is a new vitola/size and one that may not be around for long. You can buy the Oliva Serie V 135th Anniversary LE here.

The first thing you'll notice about the Oliva Serie V 135th Anniversary LE is its unique shape. Not quite a perfecto, the 135th Anniv only tapers at the foot, sort of like a bullet.

With a quick cut with my guillotine, the draw was perfect. After torching the foot, surprise surprise, it tasted like a regular Serie V. My guess was that if you like the regular Oliva Serie Vs, you'll want to try this one. If not, just pass on this.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the Oliva Serie V 135th Anniversary Edicion Limitada is a really good cigar. Not only does it taste good, but it comes in at a great price point.

As mentioned before, if you normally enjoy Oliva Serie V cigars, you're going to want to try (and stock up on) the 135th Anniversary. If you're not regularly a fan of the Serie V, give these a pass.

That said, this cigar tasted good and had great construction, and the price was a good value. So, the Oliva Serie V 135th Anniversary Edicion Limitada earns a CigarScore 5.
