Initial Thoughts
It's not often that Plasencia launches a new cigar line. But today we're taking a look at their latest blend, the Plasencia Cosecha 151 which was blended to commemorate their 151st year in business.
The Plasencia Cosecha 151 San Diego Corona is a fantastic-looking cigar. The Honduran wrapper leaf is perfectly pressed and smooth, and this cigar has not a single visual flaw. Before cutting the cigar, the tobacco smelled leafy and earthy and, in a good way, like fertilizer. After cutting the cigar, the cold draw flavors were of wood shavings.
Is this woody and leathery cigar a good addition to the “cosecha” line? Will the Plasencia Cosecha 151 San Diego Corona be worth almost $15? Let's find out.

Final Thoughts
After smoking the Plasencia Cosecha 151 San Diego Corona for right about an hour, my only complaint is a minor one – that the cigar got a little warm toward the end.
Regarding the flavors, they're fantastic. The Plasencia Cosecha 151 is spicy with hints of leather and cedar. I smoked two of these cigars, and both left me wanting another one. Although it might be a little expensive, I really enjoyed this blend.
The Plasencia Cosecha 151 San Diego Corona earns a CigarScore 5.
