Cigar Review: Pospiech Powstanie Broadleaf Belicoso
As soon as I picked up the Powstanie Broadleaf Belicoso, I could smell the dark, rich tobaccos inside. After toasting the foot, the aroma was of chocolate, leather and a hint of floral notes. And, after snipping the end with my guillotine, the draw was perfect.
The Powstanie Broadleaf Belicoso comes out of the Fabrica de Tabacos NicaSueño S.A. factory (who also makes RoMa Craft cigars) in Nicaragua. It has a United States Connecticut Broad wrapper that's dark, but not oily.
Brand: Pospiech Cigars
Line: Powstanie Broadleaf
Size: 5 1/2 x 54
Wrapper: United States Connecticut Broadleaf
Smoke Time: 62 minutes
Halfway through the cigar, the flavors became even bolder than at the beginning. I tasted notes of dark roasted coffee and black pepper. The draw and burn continue to be perfect.
Overall, the Powstanie Broadleaf Belicoso had a near-perfect burn, and draw. The flavors were very bold, and this cigar would not be for the faint of heart or for someone who doesn't like strong cigars.
Because the Powstanie Broadleaf Belicoso from Pospiech Cigars is a great smoke, but a little bolder than what I'm typically looking for, this cigar earns a CigarScore 4.
