Cigar Review: RoMa Craft Whiskey Rebellion 1794 Bradford Robusto Extra

The RoMa Craft Intemperance Whiskey Rebellion 1794 Bradford Robusto Extra is a cigar I've reviewed before. You can find my first review of the RoMa Craft Whiskey Rebellion (2020) here. But, the times have changed, my palate has experienced more cigars, and I wanted to give this blend a second chance.

Initial Thoughts

When it comes to bold cigars, RoMa Craft is one of the best brands out there. The RoMa Craft Intemperance Whiskey Rebellion 1794 Bradford Robusto Extra is no different. The Whiskey Rebellion, like most Intemperance cigars, comes with a shaggy foot. The Ecuadorian Habano wrapper stops about a quarter of an inch from the the bottom of the cigar, so we'll our first puffs will not be of wrapper leaf.

Sniffing the foot, the aroma was leafy. On the cold draw, the resistance was a little tight.

Final Thoughts

My time with the RoMa Craft Intemperance Whiskey Rebellion 1794 Bradford Robusto Extra was challenging. The draw was tight and I had to even up the burn, but the flavors were enjoyable. This experience, combined with my negative experience 4 years ago, I'm hesitant to recommend this cigar.

The flavors were good, but the construction issues were a problem. The RoMa Craft Whiskey Rebellion 1794 earns a (low) CigarScore 4.
