Cigar Review: Room 101 Namakubi 2021 LE Ranfla

Initial Thoughts:

Today we're going to take a look at the Room 101 Namakubi 2021 LE Ranfla, a cigar that's been double wrapped in paper.

During the first few weeks of March, I started tasting my way through Room 101's cigars. With a sense of adventure, I explored the twisted mind of Matt Booth, and I smoked several of his cigars.

The Room 101 Namakubi 2021 LE Ranfla (once I got it out of its paper) was a good-looking cigar with some thick veins. The wrapper leaf also had a little fuzz on it but otherwise looked really good.

After a snip with the guillotine, the draw was great with hints of cedar, but the cigar seemed a bit dry as it cracked on the cut.

Once lit, the aroma of the smoke was very sweet and quite delicious. Tasting the smoke, I enjoyed flavors that were both spicy and buttery-smooth.

Will the Room 101 Namakubi 2021 LE Ranfla be any good? Let's find out =)

Through the middle of the cigar, the flavors of the Room 101 Namakubi 2021 LE Ranfla flexed their complexity. At times the spiciness and creaminess were distinct and separate. Other times, they were well blended as if they were almost one and the same.

Final Thoughts

The construction of the Room 101 Namakubi 2021 LE Ranfla was absolutely perfect. For the price, it should've been incredibly well made, and I'm glad it lived up to its price point.

Additionally, the flavors were good. I liked the spicy taste I got from the Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, as well as the amount of sweetness.

The Namakubi has a lot going on and it does each of those things very well. I really enjoyed it. The Room 101 Namakubi 2021 LE Ranfla earns a CigarScore 5.
