Initial Thoughts

Mmmโ€ฆ cigars that pair with coffee are always interesting to me. And today, we’re going to smoke and review the Rose of Sharon Lancero by Southern Draw cigars to see if it’s a worthy compliment to your morning coffee.

Right off the bat the Southern Draw Rose of Sharon Lancero is a good looking cigar with a closed foot and a pigtail tip. Many cigars have one of those, but few have both.

Lighting up the Rose of Sharon, it was as I expected from a cigar with an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. I tasted something doughy with hints of graham cracker. Through the first few minutes, the Rose of Sharon was incredibly mild and smooth with no bite or strength in the background.
