Cigar Review: The K by Karen Berger Habano Box Pressed Robusto

Initial Thoughts:

Today's cigar is the K by Karen Berger Habano Box Pressed Robusto. This cigar is short, stocky, and beautifully box-pressed.

The wrapper on the cigar is light and a little dry (though not under-humidified). After lighting the cigar, there were light notes of cinnamon and leather. And, even with only a few small holes from the Select Draw, the draw is easy.

Final Thoughts:

In the middle third of the cigar, that's when things started to heat up. The flavors of the K by Karen Berger Habano changed from mild and leathery to spicey and cedary. Also in the middle third, there were some minor burn issues, but nothing major enough to even require me to get my torch back out.

However, toward the end of the cigar, the burn issues reappeared. Overall, the flavors were good and the overall construction was okay, but I just didn't love the cigar. The K by Karen Berger Habano Box Pressed Robusto earns a CigarScore 3.
