Initial Thoughts

The Wildfire Wanderer Toro was a good looking cigar with a medium-brown, Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf. The veins in the wrapper were noticeably lighter than the rest of the leaf, but the cigar did look pretty good. Before lighting the foot, I did notice a small crack at the bottom, but that could be due to my own handling of the cigar.

Once I cut the cap off the cigar, the cold draw had a good amount of resistance and offered up flavors that were woody and a little sour. In torching the foot, I smelled something like burnt toast. The first few puffs were leathery and sweet.

Final Thoughts

The Wildfire Wanderer Toro is a good cigar I didn't love. The flavors were good, but they weren't a homerun for me. Up until the last inch and a half or so, the flavors were pleasant, but then turned a little bitter. The notable flavors were of wood, leather, and earth.

While not my favorite cigar, this one was good. Fantastic construction and a decent price point deliver the Wildfire Wanderer Toro a CigarScore 5.
