Cigar Review: Zino Platinum Scepter Grand Master Robusto

Initial Thoughts:

At the time I smoked and reviewed my first Zino Platinum, the Crown Series Barrel, I'd never smoked a cigar so expensive, so light in color, or, perhaps even so luxurious.

So, when a friend brought over a 7-10 year old Zino Platinum Scepter Grand Master Robusto to enjoy, I was pretty stoked. On the cold draw (which was absolutely perfect), I got notes of lemon and grass. For the first quarter of an inch, the burn was slightly ragged but evened out within the first 5 to 10 minutes.

Final Thoughts:

The Zino Platinum Scepter Grand Master Robusto was a joy to smoke and made for a wonderful afternoon with friends. As you should expect from a cigar in this price point (I think ~$17 is about 40% off due to the Corona/COVID-19 depression), the burn was razor-sharp, the draw had just the right amount of resistance, and the flavors were delicious.

If you're looking for a true luxury smoke, one with not only perfect construction but also flavors that'll be a real delight, the Zino Platinum Scepter Grand Master Robusto fits the bill. And, for these reasons, this cigar earns a CigarScore 5.
