Cigar Review: Gurkha Ghost Asura

Initial Thoughts:

Before lighting, I noticed the wrapper was more “vein-y” than usual. I don't normally do this, but to light this cigar, I first lit a strip of cedar, and the result was a nice punch of flavor to kick off the Gurkha Ghost Asura. After about a half-inch in, I started getting some really wonderful, rich flavors.

Final Thoughts:

While I enjoyed this cigar a lot, it was work to keep it lit. The wrapper didn't feel oily and I think this cigar was properly humidified, so maybe the binder and filler tobaccos were more oily than the wrapper. The second half of the cigar didn't stay lit and developed an uneven burn. The final quarter got warm. Overall, the Gurkha Ghost Asura earns a CigarScore of 3.
