Cigar Review: H. Upmann Churchill

Initial Thoughts:

Cuban cigars are interesting; they're usually very well made but, in general, they're over-hyped.

The H. Upmann Churchill was mild but very well made. The burn was consistent and pleasant, the build quality was practically perfect, and the flavors were light and smooth.

Final Thoughts:

At this point in my cigar smoking career, I don't love cigars with a natural wrapper. The H. Upmann Churchill cigar didn't have some of the more recognizable flavors like macadamia nut like I've had in some Montecristos in natural wrappers. The flavors were good, but nothing stood out as memorable.

The H. Upmann Churchill was a good cigar but wasn't worth 3x the cost of the Cusano I reviewed here. Because of the higher price but without the additional flavor, this cigar gets a CigarScore of 3.
