Cigar Review: Adrian Magnus Millenium Robusto

Before smoking any of the Adrian Magnus cigars I received for review, I was really impressed with their packaging. You can view my short video on YouTube here (https://youtube.com/shorts/nNyRZIsQGW4). While most cigars I review are based on a single cigar, today's review of the Adrian Magnus Millenium Robusto is based on the final of a three cigar sampling.

Initial Thoughts

The Adrian Magnus Millenium Robusto is a great-looking, somewhat shorter than normal, robusto. Its Ecuadorian wrapper is slightly oily and very well done. The samples I received for review came in boxes of three, and that served to give these cigars a really premium look and feel.

On the cold draw, the Adrian Magnus Millenium Robusto had a perfect amount of resistance. There were no leafy, green, or grassy notes that are often less than wonderful. Once lit, the smoke's aroma was deliciously bready. The initial flavors I found in the Millenium were mostly bready with hints of sweetness and spice.

While the Millenium starts strong, it also comes in at almost $17 for a robusto. So, it's more expensive than many other cigars I like to pair with coffee. Is the Adrian Magnus Millenium Robusto a new favorite? Or, is it expensive for what you get?

Final Thoughts

The Adrian Magnus Millenium Robusto is a good cigar that has an uphill battle to make it onto our Best Breakfast Cigars list. Not because it's not a great cigar – it is, but because the market is very crowded right now.

This cigar, in fact, all three cigars I've smoked, are very good. The flavors are robust on the palate and very enjoyable. The construction was very good, but the draw in the second half was a little tight (hence the long smoke time).

I've smoked three Adrian Magnus Millenium Robusto cigars and I've enjoyed all three of them. I think the Millenium is a surprising strong point in the Adrian Magnus lineup, given that it has the least amount of age. I would smoke it again, and I think you'll enjoy it too. The Adrian Magnus Millenium Robusto earns a CigarScore 5.
