Cigar Review: LH Cigars LH Maduro Corona

LH Cigars, founded by Nick Syris, is a cigar brand with roots in Europe and the Middle East. Having worked with some of the world’s richest people, and having travelled to Cuba over 200 times to learn the art of cigar making, Syris promises us amazing cigars.

In a blind review, I gave the $21 LH Aniversario Limited Edition Toro a pretty good review. Today we’re looking at the more budget-friendly LH Maduro Corona, and we’re going to see what else this brand can do.

Initial Thoughts

The LH Cigars LH Maduro Corona was a fantastic looking cigar. From it’s purposely designed label to the smooth Ecuadorian Criollo Maduro wrapper, this was a good-looking cigar.

Once you remove the LH Maduro from the cellophane, you’ll quickly notice the closed foot. Before lighting the cigar, the wrapper smelled like a basket of fruit that had been left out too long. After lighting the cigar, the first few puffs tasted like leather, spice, and something musty.

Final Thoughts

Partly due to a slightly tight draw (just a hair tighter than I’d prefer), I was able to smoke the LH Cigars LH Maduro Corona for right at an hour and twenty-five minutes. The construction was almost perfect. The LH Maduro also had a nice variety of flavors, although I enjoyed the first half more than the second half.

In enjoyed this cigar, and I think you will too. The smoke time was solid and the price point is good. The LH Cigars LH Maduro Corona earns a CigarScore 5.
