Initial Thoughts

While, in the past, I've praised Rocky Patel for his fancy labels, the one on the Rocky Patel Sun Grown Robusto is strikingly plain. But before we judge the Sun Grown by its label, let's give it a shot.

On the cold draw, the Rocky Patel Sun Grown delivered a leafy and woody flavor. Once lit, the flavors were sweet and leafy.

Final Thoughts

For the most part, this Rocky Patel Sun Grown Robusto, though not perfect, was pretty good.

In the middle of the cigar, a crack developed in the wrapper. It's hard to tell, but the crack might've been there from the very beginning. However, the crack had no negative impact on the overall experience.

In the final third, the flavors became a little harsh. But, I enjoyed the flavors for the most part.

Because of the construction issue, the Rocky Patel Sun Grown Robusto earns a CigarScore 4.
