Initial Thoughts:
While I have reviewed a Serino Royale 20th Anniversary Maduro XX before, that was over a year ago, and before we launched CigarScore TV. So, when I went into today's review of the Belicoso vitola of the Serino Royale 20th Anniversary Maduro XX that I received from CigarClub.com, I went into it with an open mind and a fresh palate.
After cutting the rounded tip with my guillotine, the cold draw was nice. I tasted the smell of chocolate, not sure how that works, but it was distinct. Once the Serino Royale was lit, I tasted lots of spice and some leather notes.
Through the first third of the Serino Royale 20th Anniversary Maduro XX, the draw and construction were great, the flavors were of leather and wood. The spiciness that greeted me at the beginning of the smoke started to fade after the end of the first third.

Final Thoughts
The Serino Royale 20th Anniversary Maduro XX Belicoso is an interesting cigar. The construction was pretty good, but there was a stem in the smoking end that kept poking me in the lips and teeth.
Overall, the flavors were pretty good, but they were definitely better in the first two-thirds than they were in the final third.
At the end of the 70-or-so minutes, I had to give the Serino Royale 20th Anniversary Maduro XX Belicoso the same Score as the toro. They both had good construction, but both left me desiring better flavors. So, the Maduro XX Belicoso earns a CigarScore 4.
